Absolutely agree. There do seem to be bargains in Spain, but need to avoid Sandro types!

We haven't signed a Dutch player under Brands even academy level (I don't think).

Reading through the last dozen or so pages, some of the names mentioned remind me how much dross we still have on our books, most of whom will never play for us again, and who nobody else wants. It’s like my garage, full of crap I’ll never use again that is only fit for the tip.

….nobody comes in without a green light from Benitez, Brands cannot bring players in without the managers authorisation. If VdB comes in it’s because Benitez wants him.
