I can hardly recall Nkounkou myself! but here's the thing, if the FSW wants shut of Digne because he is too attacking and not enough defending then Nkounkou would never be seen in a blue shirt again!

Well they need an entire new defence first and not DCL. He wouldn’t “keep them up”, he’s not that type of player or such a prolific goalscorer.

i don’t think he’ll ever be anything better than an average Premier League midfielder now. He’s dipped massively and fallen behind so many other players in his position.

I just don’t think he has the desire. My mate is a Spurs fan and he hates Alli because of his attitude.

We need two players in every position, loaning out Nkounkou was bizarre. If we sell Digne, even if we buy a new left back, we'll still end up playing Godfrey there.

But what's scary is nothing around a right back?

Competes with Richarlison for the position behind DCL. He's a second striker not a midfielder. He is really close in skillset to Richarlison when he's playing well.

If Benitez can bring in a new left back, right back, 2 centre halves, a deep lying midfielder, right winger, box to box player, a number 10, a young hungry striker along with a back up striker and also change his name and looks and tactics and style of play to the absolute opposite of what he does.....then I reckon we'll be sound Zat .

= Myolenko + Patterson (for example)

Also bring in Boubacar Kamara from Marseille out of contract in summer.

With those three additions we add pace, drive and hunger in the defensive positions to give us a platform.

Something to build on till season end when we add more similar quality players.
