I think that is a bit of a myth really. Maybe when it comes to permanent deals but you can always get a good loan signing looking to impress.

I just want us to stop spending 30m a pop on rubbish/average squad players.

If all we're going to be doing is crossing in to the box then maybe look at a loan for Mariano Diaz from Real? Meant to be really good in the air..

Mina never fit, Keane and Godfrey looking hopeless, Doucoure/Allan get injured replaced with Delph/Davies/G'bamin, the forward threat of Rondon, Iwobi and Gordon?

Never even mentioned the right back situation, 3 years and counting?

Influx of players will increase the morale of the team and fans, otherwise first week February, in the bottom three its going to be toxic!

I would limit the signings to:

A: Young players like Branthwaite.

B: Pre-contract agreements

Focus on sales.


We should be only focused on RB, CB, CM positions.

Agreed. I've heard Jan has great ideas in the recruitment department and the constant sex pestery is a distraction.

I agree I think he’s massively been missed this season, assists, experience and some composure. Probably some goals too. Gets way too much abuse on here.

Scores 1-3 open play goals a season and has about 3 open play assists, Townsend will replace that output. He hasn’t been missed in the slightest.
