Site here, done by ambulance chasers but interesting stats. We seem to be about middle in the road in terms of prem league injuries, less than arsenal, spurs, villa and city, more than utd, chelsea, stoke and sunderland.

12/13 and 13/14 were far and away our best seasons over the last 6 years. Is it just as simple as we kept more people fit and we're overthinking it to talk of tactics and the like?

Probably about right.
This year we had a right run of injuries, took us till about February before we could put our first choice XI on the pitch together, and could have made up an XI of injured players.
Difficult to pick up any kind of confidence and form with half the team in and out of the side with injury.

What is classed as an injury ?

The injuries that have plagued the team this season have been vastly understated in my eyes.

Hardly able to settle upon a regular 11 due to all the injuries especially when things were going really bad.

It's not rocket science to see our change in form has coincided with players returning from injury.

I think sometimes we have more injuries than others.

Sometimes these injuries are worse than others.

Sometimes.

Injuries.
