Thanks for starting this thread. I was wondering when we were finally going to find a place on this forum to discuss some of the challenges facing the club.
What's going on? Carlo Ancelotti manager, billionaire owner(s) and a squad full of quality international players like morgs, siggy, mick keggers and cenk tosun. Sounds pretty good to meThanks for starting this thread. I was wondering when we were finally going to find a place on this forum to discuss some of the challenges facing the club.
The mail hates usWhy not link the daily mail article?
I read it but kind of a fluff piece.
What are our expectations?
We don’t have a particularly large fan base, we haven’t won anything in over 25 years, so maybe it’s time to finally accept what we are.
Liverpool pushing on as they have had further crushed us into complete insignificance in the eyes of most non Everton fans.
The more noise we make at the moment just makes outsiders wonder “why”.
There is no obvious attraction to come and play for Everton other than we will pay over the odds wages for average players and we can again guarantee PL football so they will at least be in the spotlight to get a move to a bigger club if they succeed.
The website can't really say we're rubbish can it? I mean there's loads to have a go at the club about, but trying to put out positive messages isn't really one of them.A few good results and the official Everton website will be waxing lyrical of how great we are. I find it a little embarrassing. The Martinez monument was embarrassing in 2014, the "it's in our DNA" slogan plastered everywhere, even the "we go the game" hanging from lampposts. I think the clubs commercial side is embarrassing and if we win a trophy, no one will hear the last of it for a long time. We'll basically be Liverpool in 2005.

Yes mate Specsavers will be busier than ever.I actually think some benefit will come from all this.
Mate Denise Barrett-Baxendale isn't just thinking about the Champions League, she's planning for it.
Just shows how disengaged this club really is.
