With GDPR I doubt the club shared anything with Utd least of all the personal details of supporters.It doesnt say the club have given our database to United. It says they received information that he was on it. Slightly different.

Quite. He could have popped up on all sorts of data bases, and United checked with Everton to ID him correctly.

[Edit] I strongly suspect T&C's have it covered but I can't envisage anyway Man Utd know he's on Everton's FCs database without Everton confirming (sharing information) it.
