Just forget about it lads, an absolutely nothing game. Unacceptable at Goodison for sure, but if we win On Sunday then quite frankly I couldn't give a toss about tonight.

1 point from 5 games is utter humiliation. Given a drubbing and a footballing lesson not once but twice by a mediocre Italian side. It's by far the most shameful campaign in our European history.

That's exactly what it is and our worst home result in Europe and this gang of knobheads have all played their part in that embarrassment

It doesn't work like that though mate, we simply can't turn form on like a tap. We'v been absolutely woeful for the best part of the games we got the 4 points. Getting stuffed like tonight isn't the type of game where you go "oh well it doesn't matter" because it matters a lot, it's another disjointed, Clueless, passionless, aimless performance befire another away game where let's be honest 10 months of away crap says we probably won't win.

But even before tonight we didn't know how to win a game. After tonight our confidence has been shredded. You can't say tonight doesn't matter. It is a huge kick in the balls to a team that was already rolling around on the floor.

Devastating...

Not saying it doesn't matter boys, just saying the league games are what matters. Against both Watford and Palace we were utterly, utterly terrible but still got 4 points. Quite frankly that'll do me. Not saying we'll suddenly start playing quality stuff on the weekend but, I guarantee there'll be a difference from tonight.

What occurred after 2-1 was utterly disgraceful and was completely embarrassing. You can’t write it off and just expect us to bounce back on Sunday. The heaviest home defeat for an English club in this competition for over 20 years. 31 days since Koeman was sacked and here we are rudderless and even worse than when he left. Shocking.

Hope so mate I really do. With Niasse missing I'm hoping that Sandro goal tonight will just give him that boost...not that he will get a game as Besic will be up top probably lol

Tonight I actually felt embarrassed to be a evertonian. I love being a blue, but this is the most pathetic period in our history I can remember, we are still without a manger, rudderless and leaderless and sinking.

Nil Satis eh.
Been a Blue since '82. This is the worst I've seen us. I think. The Walker bit and the bit with that Scottish div were bad but this is horrendous. At least back then we replaced them quickly and had a kind of back up plan, even if we scraped it by the skin of our teeth. I think this year we may well go down as bottom of the table if we don't stop this rot now. And who is gonna do it? I don't have an answer, the board clearly don't. We're cannon fodder down there right now. We can forget about our big club issues. Right now it's time to call in anyone capable of keeping this team up. I'm seriously scared for our future.

I don't feel embarrassed to be an Evertonian. I feel embarrassed that some of these players that were on the field today at Goodison represent Everton.

Tonight was a new low. That we can even use "well we were out of it anyway" as an excuse makes it even worse.

I'm not exactly sure in which direction to lash out at. The experienced pros that don't seem to know the basics of football, the young lads who aren't fulfilling their promise (cheap shot at them I know), the 'managers' for inept team selection and transfer dealings, the board for inept transfer dealings and seemingly directionless leadership. We are in a mess.

Leaves me speechless, to be honest.
