Tonight I actually felt embarrassed to be a evertonian. I love being a blue, but this is the most pathetic period in our history I can remember, we are still without a manger, rudderless and leaderless and sinking.

Nil Satis eh.

It was another pathetic low of which there have been many. Don't even pretend it can't get worse either. My advice to anyone reading this thread is to go and do some Christmas shopping in somewhere like Leeds on Sunday 10th December.

Tonight, I wasnt surprised though.

This a new feeling.

Another embarrassing collapse

Same as United away Arsenal Lyon away.

It’s as if someone presses a button and it all falls apart

And now I don’t even care if we are on the attack. I’ve been reduced - after 47 years of match going passion to a totally disinterested bystander.

I was at the game tonight and I am starting to question my sanity.

I’m disappointed to read this Dan,
You have a longer history than me by age, sum and historic time served! I struggle to see what positives are aged.

I get it mate, I'm hurt too. Numb in fact, but one thing I'll never be is embarrassed to be an Evertonian. They let us down again, no doubt about that and it rips you apart, it does me. On too many occasions, tonight being one of them, the Club don't deserve the support its got, but I can't ever be embarrassed by being what I am. B

I feel very similar to when Jimmy Gabriel was caretaker manager. We went a few games without scoring and Barlow scored away against Chelsea ( twice I think ) and we got beat 4-2 in the end but I was just happy we had scored. That's as low as I feel now. Clueless, Rudderless, no passion, no spirit, not one stand out player who can drag others into form

Well it’s been a steady decline in my passion. Maybe it’s like Bereavement- there are stages of loss.

I accepted the Late collapse at City. - totally expected.

I expected nothing at Chelsea. I switched off and was grateful for only 2-0 after last season’s 5-0

Spurs - abysmal

Atalanta- pathetic

Man U - typical

Limassol - unacceptable

Burnley. Lyon Arsenal. Leicester. Lyon. Tonight.

Mate I understand exactly - but I must say that tonight I felt embarrassment. Huge embarrassment. I'm not embarrassed to be an Evertonian and never will be. But tonight - and not for the first time this season....

I really fear for the club right now. We need a manager who can stop the rot, galvanise a group of players who on paper are miles ahead of where we are currently, and rebuild a massive confidence drain.

I've never seen anything like it in 50 years as a supporter.
