Awful news. The only glimmer of positivity is that he passed doing what he loved and surrounded by 40,000 evertonians who despite not necessarily knowing him first hand, still consider him part of the Everton family and are deeply affected by his passing

RIP

Gutted for our brother Blue and family. There is something weirdly...don't know the word. Positive isn't it. But something spiritual about passing the place that mean more to you than any other place but your home, surrounded by both your mates and people you don't know but you have a shared passion and history....even if you've never met.

Grasping for straws here. A lesson: Don't be afraid to tell the people you love, how much you love them, and tell them all the time. Don't ever suffer something like this with regrets.

Blimey mate you that is a bit blunt. Whole point here was yes people die but we had to witness some poor bloke who goes to the match just like we do die in front of our eyes, with his poor son who must have suffered no end witnessing it, and everyone being helpless. Seeing the paramedics performing CPR for over twenty minutes was harrowing, knowing his poor life was ebbing away while we watched football. Anyone, particularly who is a similar age, like me , or goes the match with their teenage son, like me , can't help but be affected and think there for the grace of god go I. Think it's apppropriate that people offer their condolences, there were many who were deeply affected today sat nearby, we all were in thea family enclosure, the game became unimpotant tbh.

Of course mate i was just trying to throw some perspective on it to potentially aleve some of the distress those who witnessed will have felt. The messages to the mans daughter on twitter were touching and class as usual from the blue family

This is good for any bathroom mirror, you can't be reminded enough of it. RIP to our fellow Blue.

Had something similar happen at a symphony concert some years ago as an audience member. (if you could pick a place outside of a hospital, this is a good one. The place will be full of doctors.) Also - was once conducted by a man who had a fatal heart attack on the podium during a concert three weeks later.

Lesson - Carpe the diem while you can, and do as suggested above by our good friend jdawg. Thank everybody along the way.

No probs mate - just maybe didn't come across well, as others obviously thought too.

Just a trolling scumbag every club has them
yeah. Not fair to even bring the team he supports into it really,it would be unfair on the loads and loads of tweets and posts on the likes of RAWK offering sincere condolences to do so. Unfortunately the individual is a scumbag and hopefully in the minority. Like I've said the messages off kopites and indeed other clubs fans have been in the majority classy.

I kept saying this to a girl I matched with on Tinder and she eventually called me a weirdo and told me to do one. So thanks, but no thanks for the advice.

I became a father on Saturday morning to a beautiful baby girl. I text a fellow blue to tell him my good news and to say Everton beating Stoke would be a perfect day. So sad to hear this terrible news.Really brings you back down to earth. May he Rip. Deepest sympathy to his family.
