Haven't read the whole thread so may have been said, but most of the stadium applauded as the paramedics brought him down.

We were all part of the fellas send off.

I'm really gutted about this, I was within a few hundred metres of a young fella who died at a footy game, absolutely horrible.

Not to be a bit errrrmm i dunno blunt or morbid but an Everton fan dies every single day of the year. Obviously it hits home a bit harder cos it happened at the game and that but wider perspective, its just par for the course

I understand what you mean being human. We are born. We live. We die. It's part of life.

The gentleman unfortunately had his time. Sad for his family. If there is any comfort to them hopefully its the sympathy from all our fans.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to a fellow Blue. Saw from the Paddock that something was clearly wrong and hoped that it wasn't too serious. Pretty much the same age as me, and doing something we all do week in week out, but not going home tonight. Brings it home how precious life is and how fragile it can be at the same same.
Hopefully his family can take some solace from the fact that he was with his second family.
RIP.

Exactly the same age as me. But hopefully this means he also witnessed 1984-87; Wembley as our second home; the Bayern match; hammering the Mancs regularly; doing the double over the RS.

He probably also saw the Holy Trinity if his Da brought him along as a nipper!!

God bless you mate.

...very, very sad and condolences to his family and friends. Maybe one day there will be a crumb of comfort that he passed away at his beloved Goodison with his son by his side. God bless, fella.

Awful news. The only glimmer of positivity is that he passed doing what he loved and surrounded by 40,000 evertonians who despite not necessarily knowing him first hand, still consider him part of the Everton family and are deeply affected by his passing

RIP

There is a time and place for observations of this nature.......................AND THIS ISN'T IT!

Seeing an evertonian die sat in his seat in goodison isn't an every day thing though is it ? A lot of people sat near him left the ground as it was clearly hard for them to deal with and witness .
