In the announcement video it's broad daylight, so he was signed in the afternoon, but they literally waited until half time of a derby game to announce it. For what reason? Why couldn't they announce it straight after the Barkley news? What the hell is this club.

this morning would have been much better and probably lifted our spirits maybe a little after losing lastnight. have it on sky sport news, make a big deal over it like normal etc etc..

hey lads, Im Everton's new fan from Turkey. As Cenk will play at Everton, that means we will watch all Everton games and support them !

As a football expert (all Turks are expert in football and politics ) ;

I guess you are excited to see Cenk's skills. Although i know Cenk very well, i really can't tell if he will perform well or not at Everton.

Because he is not a stand alone player and it is wrong to expect from him to eliminate 3-4 rival defenders and score a goal. It is not impossible but this is not what Cenk is. He is also not Harry Kane. And he is also not a counter attack player, who will dribble fast and score goals after a speedy & long run.

Then who is he? He is a deadly finisher. Honesty i didnt watch Everton or EPL games a much. But when i check statistics of Everton i can see a serious scoring problem. If the reason of that problem is "not creating possesions" Cenk will not be able to do much. But if Everton creates positions but can't finish, Cenk is your man ! He has really quality left and right foot. He can keep the ball and deliver to teammates. He is a real danger inside box and scores many "one touch goals" if he gets assists. He is a decent header. And he is mentally great and nice man. He fights for his team.

Im really excited to watch next game of Everton. I hope you support Cenk in his adaptation period. Because although he is professional, he is also emotional which means he will perform extra if he feels the support...
