Player Valuation: £750k
Right I'm not one to do this and I know it will seem pretty pointless info so don't shoot me down.

Dad heard of an Everton shareholder that there is defintely money available to spend (wouldn't say how much,i reckon he didn't know tbh) and that Carter was brought back on to the board to knock a few heads together because there has been upset on the board (yet again wouldn't say why!)

Not the greatest info like I said but just wanted to share it.

I don't know the fellas name like I said Dad got me the info.

Carter is back for the EGM. We no doubt have some money, but Moyes looks like he is hoping to use that to get loan deals on good players before dredging the bottom of the barrel to bring in the squad fillers in the last frantic week of the window.

It's heartening that we have so many experts here that know everything about the club based on scraps of information gleened from dubious sources here and there.

We're chasing a 25million Euro rated (by his club) player. If we had no money, we wouldnt be doing this. That's where my info's coming from anyway.

By offering way below the valuation. Anyone can do that, don't be so naive

Why waste the time? We're not meeting the 25million Euro's but we're in and around that price. Its not like we turned up and said "How about 6mill?". Its an upwards of 10million otherwise, why bother even trying?

Obviously we do have money to spend. This week alone we've reportedly offered 19 million and 10 million Euros for Moutinho and M'Bia. Those both seem very realistic amounts based on what the players are worth. We're not the only club being frustrated this summer by clubs hanging on to players by setting unrealistic asking prices - think of the RS and Gareth Barry.

Whether or not the fact that we've upped our offers for these players means that there's suddenly more money to spend - who knows ? And if there is more money, is that because of a change of policy at the top as the thread suggests ?

Who knows what to believe we will only know at the end of this month whichever way you look at it though its been [Poor language removed] management from the top how can we have the squad we have at this point.

Thank you Dave1001, but we can do without the "I heard from..." threads, as all it does is degenerate into another medium for everybody to start slagging everybody else off.
