With a lot of top European leagues now having introduced B teams to their lower leagues and our manager advocating this in England imagine how cool would it be to support an Everton B team?

It be like following a lower league team but it's us! Imagine following them on a good cup run, it'd be like us having a second chance in the cups. I think it'd be a great idea to follow a B team. Anyone else?

Naismith still wouldn't get a game.

Would be a great idea and would be ace! Think it works brilliantly in Spain and would work here also.

Moyes wanted it didn't he but said the powers at be we're not playing ball.

I recall the Ginger, Moyes, pushing for the same thing. Would it benefit England on a National level? Yes. Would it benefit the leagues? Questionable. The lower league sides would now have to compete with yet another club, and the bigger clubs would have the ability to use players of greater talent. How would promotion/relegation work?

probably a dumb question but how would that even work with promotion and cups? could they play each other?

just like in Spain... B team can't play in same division as the real team, barca B could win the league every season and still not get promoted. not sure about cups but ive never seen barca vs barca b

What if we got relegated into the same division? Can't stop us going down, wouldn't be fair to only promote 2 teams

read something online that said, for example, if Barcelona was relegated somehow, and their B team was not promoted or relegated, the B team would still have to be pushed down to the Third division.
