It's a no from me. What is wrong with "Everton"? It doesn't need shortening - it's not like we're called "Borussia Mönchengladbach" or "Inverness Caledonian Thistle" is it? If it's "The" anything, then it's "The Blues" or "The Toffees". "Everton" is worse than that lot over at Mordor referring to themselves as "Redmen". Just stop it please
