Sky Sports | Football | Premier League | News | Jo at home with Everton
"It makes a difference going into a settled team full of mates rather than an all-star one of strangers," said Jo.

"City are trying to build a team, it is a new project, so it is a lot different than here.

"The players are still getting to know each other, so it is something that is still building up.

"But here everything was right from the start, the players made me feel really welcome. I felt at home from the first moment I walked in.

"The manager has put a lot of trust in me so when I went into the game I felt confident, even though I'd not played in a while."

Says a lot about our players and staff compared to them horrible scumbags of East manchester.

The Brazilian marksman mustered only one Premier League goal for City, but doubled that tally on Saturday with a brace in Everton's 3-0 win over Bolton.

Great maths that.

So he had one, and now he has 3, so he tripled his tally, not doubled otherwise he would have had 2. What can I say?

Love the use of the term 'City Flop' - more performances like that and City will be wondering just how much is wrong at their club. It might not be the player that is the real flop.

Said it when we signed him, coming into a settled team will give him the confidence he needs to focus on what he does best - looks like he agrees.

Great debut performance and a shame he is cup tied - him and Tim look like a formidable strike partnership.

Him taking that 2nd penalty was all about boosting his confidence. I dunno who made that decision, Moyes, Neville or Arteta but it was an excellent thing to do in building the lads confidence and bringing him into the team, the manager, the players, the fans, and the club.

He can only get better for the team if he's feeling comfortable. If he keeps it up and Moyes thinks he'll improve the team, the lad might just wanna stay himself and ask for a transfer from Citeh.

Gosling picked the ball up straight away but Neville told him to give it to Jo, Dan was gutted but no one else could have taken it after the game he had.

Every new signing says the same, that the players are very friendly and make you feel really welcome. He didnt say that about city, and its not something you hear often from players when joining other clubs.

Is it our initiation task of singing that does it or what?

If our usual penalty taker isn't on the pitch, it should be given to the remaining striker.
