I love this place for the humor and the incite, however, I hate it for the knee jerking BS that is posted here far too often.

Erm....insight, perhaps? Or are you trying to incite your readers to be insightful...?!! Anyway, agree with your view: kudos to the Spurs man on two decent articles there.

We are a working class club at heart but in world football terms we are upper middle class. We're in the 1% from a global perspective -- but we yearn to be in the "real" 1% (the Barca, Man City 1%). It's a fairly standard parallel to the way life works: you get a taste of it and you want more even though to most outsiders what you have already looks bloody amazing. Most people on earth would love to have your nice house and nice car ... but you want the really great house and the crazy luxury car. Truth be told you're probably smarter and better than the people in charge ... but then they are the ones in charges so how smart are we really?

On the other hand we know the whole 1% thing is killing the planet and if we ever actually got the choice I hope we'd rather blow it all up than become one of them. Revolution lids.

Anyway calls for a football and a real world revolution aside it's a nice article from the Spurs dude. Cheers mate. We can learn a lot from you ... you never should have sold Bale ... enter Barkley.
