Everton and Martinez are to blame should Lukaku leave

It's true though mate, we've always played in the Champions League and won cups; it's only Martinez who's spoiling the party coming in and failing to get Champions League football and failing to win cups. If only we got rid of him it could all go back to normal again.
Oh Christ yeah sorry. I totally forgot.

It isn't mate. Quite clearly.

Of course it is.

I mean saying "quite clearly" doesnt make it true, it only reflects on the coaching and management, MOST of this group of players managed to finish 5th, some of this group of players have even finished 4th. But no, I suppose your right, most teams with a striker who scores 30 goals finishes in 12th.

I mean when Lineker scored all those goals, we finished 12th that season, RIGHT?

Yeah mate, plucky little Everton should stay down there, nobody wants plucky little Everton to improve, pat them on the head and accept 12th.

Would Lukaku be under any pressure to leave (to fulfil his personal ambitions) if we had been competing for a CL spot this season?

The answer to that is no.

Do we have a squad capable of competing for a CL position this season - yes

The reason we are not competing for a CL spot this season is because Martinez lacks the skills to get us there (as stated previously). Therefore should Lukaku leave, Martinez has to be responsible.

It's perfectly understandable mate. We've all been mesmerised by Martinez to think we never won stuff for years before he came. Everyone knows we won titles and cups and played in the CL every season. No wonder Lukaku is hoping that a high quality "management and coaching team with actual winning experience" will come in and turn back the clock to our glory days before Martinez arrived.

...so why do we need to restructure it?

Such talk is expected from Raiola but comments of moving on made by Lukaku and his father over the last week have been hugely disrespectful to the club who believed in him when others didn’t. Surely he has greater regard for Everton than to openly talk of his wish to play for another team?

Just this part, You forgot the bit where he said only what is good for the club, I do believe. Anyway, I don't find that disrespectful a player frustrated showing ambition; maybe if we were 4th and he was wanting out then judas tag him like but 2 seasons of 11th and 12th when he has played great, not for me, I understand, where he is coming from.

Agreed mate.

12th is where we belong.

I guess Neville was right all those years ago.

I'd say having a fit, able and consistently playing unit at the back makes a difference. Including the keeper. We don't have that. With purchases this summer we will. Then I'll be with you, it's top 4 kinda stuff.

Having either a novice or Howard and an ever changing, inexperienced back 4 is a recipe for....

12th!

If plucky little Everton wants to win things the Persian needs to get his hand in his pocket and pull out some of that cash Usmanov worked his way.

You mean 5th and 72 points record PL points total in the PL?

Surely?
