The 2 passages of play for their 2nd and 3rd goals are similar to how an u10s team.would set up.

From the kick off that passage was inexcusable

Then the 3rd goal we've got 3 players rushing for a ball when it needed just 1, then Alcaraz heads it inside when just a header down the line would have had the game sewn up. Garners half arsed attempt at a standing tackle on the half way line, to the inevitable corner and Patterson slipping and Alcaraz and Garner too slow to go and press the only player for them who looked like he could slot from distance.

It was laughable if it was anyone else but Everton
Every little touch goes not the way we want. To go with what you say. City player on 3rd basically miscontrolled for me, that leads to Doku

about 10 mins ago I saw the result and was made up with that outcome: then I watched the highlights....Everton, that...or should I say 'English Premier League,that...a rigged circus
PL corrupt AF.

Rigged in every way, including 10 point deduction compared to a billionaire club being fined 10 million.
I still can’t do the maths.

Unfortunately it will continue to happen and does continue to happen as we have in game management League 2 standard

I’ll tell you what Macca. We conceded a corner within 11 seconds of the 2nd half - and we do this loads btw - because we just don’t switch on at kick off sometimes.

That bit us hard on the bum for their second goal.

I read this morning that the Rohl pen not given because the ball wasn't in play at the time. So it would seem that as soon as the ball goes out of play, we should rugby tackle entire teams.

But we're not making this charge for Europe easy on ourselves. Lets hope the same fighting spirit is evident in the next 3 fixtures as was on show in the second half yesterday.

Tell us which is your favourite after tonight please.
Seeing the sun setting over the rippling Mersey through the North Stand glass from high up in the Upper East last night as we tore City apart for 13 minutes was pretty memorable! I didn't know you could get that angle/view from up there. After test driving all eight areas though, I'd say there's definitely no bad seat or section in the place, every one great in its own way, but absolutely nothing beats the South Stand lower for me - that was everything I dreamt the new stadium would be and personally I'd change the North Stand lower to safe standing too. I grew up at Goodison, I've a thousand great memories connected to people who are no longer here... but I'm happy for them to be memories and am so thankful that we've got the HD. I love the new walk, I love seeing the stadium appear on the horizon, I even love going through "the wall", I love seeing the water and I love stepping out into the inside of the stadium. This is home.

2 reasons why we didn't win that last night.

1. Allowing the best striker in the world to just waltz through our whole team to score their second whist we are still patting ourselves on the back. We need to be ready at kick off.

2. Illy's decision making was surprisingly shocking for a change. The one that sticks out was to not play Barry in for 4-2 and he took a shot that wasn't on.

Hopefully we learn from this quickly and have a strong finish now.

Even though the ball was in play. It may have started when not in play. but ball is near enough at near post when he goes down.

,
Is it just me, or has our penalty shout been pretty much silenced. Felt like a huge decision to me at the game, and looked an absolute stonewaller, but its not been shown on a single highlight reel.
It won't be, but sky/and other media outlets will go to town on Keanes yellow card, saying it should been red blah blah blah....no wonder refs are scared of giving anything against the sky 6
