We'll set up to draw amd play incredibly deep.

We will either lose comfortably offering no threat or, if we win, it'll be against the run of play probably via a set peice.

It's the sort of game Moyes loves. Everyone expects us to get nothing. So a point, while we offer absolutely no attacking threat, looks a good result.
It's the sort of game he loves because he gives himself a complete pass if we lose. And so will everyone else.

Nah. We'll already have factored it in. You see, with Moyes in these games hope is utterly pointless. They say hope dies last. In these games with Moyes, it dies first - before kick-off.
I dont think it matters who is in charge or who they are playing, at this stage of the season Man City will be locked in, they will want that trophy. Its not an excuse to write this one off. But, it would be nice to have a go at them and maybe lose 3 2 instead of a dull 1 nil.

I wouldn't expect any manager to win this. But I definitely wouldn't expect Moyes to. At best, we'll fight hard and lose late on. But we will never at any stage look like winning. And that's what I can't abide. At least have a bloody good go. It shouldn't mean losing heavily.

Sneaking a point could be huge at end of season for European places given the logjam? I've not given up on it.

Capit...capitul...capitula...we'll lose.

Negativity? It's reality that has been borne out for 35 years and more.

The optimists have been proven delusional over that time. It's the so-called pessimists or "negative" types who have proven the more reliable interpreters of reality, sad to say.

But hey, if you think we won't lose to City next week, good for you. I'd love you to be right.

It's called being positive your a total doom merchant

This will go the same as it always does.

We grind our way to a goalless stalemate through about 65 minutes then they finally unlock us with a quality succession of passes and a good finish from a world class player.

We try to find a goal, nearly scoring one, and concede another one around minute 86.

Don’t forget the subs as soon as we go the goaldown. ☹️
