Coleman looked quite good. I'm still wary of when he comes up against quality opposition and where we're under sustained pressure.

As for Neville, I'm far from his biggest fan... but he didn't really do anything wrong yesterday. Simple stuff like but he tended to find the easy pass and retain possession, as well as helping us maintain our shape in the centre. It was only Southampton though so...

His lack of dynamism right now is what gets me. Sure, he didn't do much wrong, but he didn't do much right either. I just think he's good as a sub right about now.

No doubt, he's slow as **** and hesitant at times. But he didn't have much to do really, is what I'm saying. And the little that he had to do, he did to an acceptable standard. So for this week, I'm not going to criticise him. Agreed though, he should be a squad player, with Gibson taking his place. More likely is Gibson taking Ossie's place though.

Agree with all of this, and I hope Moyes doesn't do the last sentence.

I strayed out of my usual area and took a seat in the Lower Glwadys row n seat 71.

Now apart from one or 2 rather rotund gentlemen near me the atmoshphere was more of a buzz than a raucous body of noise...However I enjoyed the game from my non normal viewpoint.
Although it was evident that we miss Gibson in the middle....At time there were acres of space left for there players to run into and on more than one occasion our fullbacks had 2 players to mark.

Oh and I thought getting Bally's grand children on the park was a tremendous gesture....

They suffered from some utter middle class young bulbs trying to play banter ridden Danny Dwyers. Some of funniest unfortunate dickheads I've ever seen trying to goad the Park End and snarl when we pulled their pants down on the field. As Ive said before a young steward lad got in one of their faces when they tried to step in and they absolutely sh*t it and started calling for the police.

Then outside the ground all them same middle class warriors had their heads right down trying to get away.

Pathetic support like. They know a few songs but they were embarrassingly small time.

What happened near the end? one of their beauts pulled out? what did he do?

Acted like a cheeky tit. His mar and dars are probably doctors and dentists and he's achieved a lifetime goal of being arrested at the match. He'll bring it up every time he goes for a bevvy in his local hamlet.

A toe curling support full of Quentins.

What's a Quentin?
