Yeah sound. Our third gear overwhelmed them. Should have went after them second half and got some goal difference.

Special mention for their fans who were one of the biggest selection of bells to visit us in recent years. We only sing when were winning you quilts, is right. Buzzing off a load of sh*thouse jarg Danny Dwyer wannabes fuming over one scouse steward lid who didn't take any messing from the teds.

Anyway, boss Everton team this. She said to me at half time that it's the best EFC team she's seen in eight years.

Were playing the best footie we have since the eighties. It probably wont last but while it does enjoy it. Pienaar is sex.

Your bird's an Everton fan?

Is she real?

Just heard Mirallas and Baines have both done their cruciates while out dancing in town.

Sorry lads.

hope your joking brennan lad.

decent win today lads, would have hoped for more goals but really refreshing to see us hit back so convincingly after going one down so early. an earlyish equalised was just what the doctor ordered and thankfully we have the game sewn up by HT. no need to play flat out in the 2nd half, i'm liking the arrogance that we had knowing that the game was pretty much up at 3-1 and thinking if they score again, we'll just up a gear and score another one or two to bury them again ... at least i hope. we barely got out of 2nd/3rd gear today, plenty more to come from this everton team. hoping when gibbo's back it's a straight swap for neville, loving coleman at RB, we're scoring goals for fun despite missing bucketloads of chances and hitting the woodwork, it's great stuff

The floor in Garlands gets proper slippy on a saturday night mate.

Neville was fine today, but we even when we win we have to moan. Im impressed there isnt a big vic thread yet.
Mirallas didnt impress me today or against Leeds

Neville was excellent today - and who impressed against Leeds, exactly?
Mirallas has pace and trickery. Taking players on is becoming an ever increasing gamble, defenders are now so sharp, quick and well organised, so it won't always come off.
Methinks you have a problem with perceived 'flashiness'. I think you need to lay off a player who is direct and scores (as well as creates) goals. He is a huge asset.

Coleman was my Man of the Match today. Constantly cause problems for Southampton on that right side.

His run to set up Jelavic for his second was brilliant! If he can work on his final ball he will be a fine player for us. He is really impressing me. The right side looks brilliant with Coleman and Mirallas.
Finally some danger from both sides of the pitch!

Sixth game on MOTD !!! - WTF we are 2nd

Nothing to do with league position, it's all about the game's entertainment or significance. Even if we'd scored six Utd and Spurs would have been game 1. If only Arsenal had stuck to the script we'd be top now!

Oh, and I'm glad to say I was wrong about big Felli. I should stop watching streams that make me go cross-eyed!

Anybody willing to post thier player ratings for the game? I just like to know what u guys think

I didnt watch the game but here we go.

Howard 7
Coleman 7
Heitinga 7
Jagielka 7
Baines 7
Neville 6
Mirallas 7
Fellaini 7
Osman 8
Pienaar 7
Jelavic 9

I base this on all the players starting on 7, and then adding a point per goal scored. Neville gets a point taken away for having bleach blonde hair.

Coleman had a decent game. This type of game and opposition is suited to him. Lets see how he goes against more threatening teams but hes done his chances no harm.

He raped their left back time and time again.

Their left back by the way was that Clyne lid they signed from Palace who some of you were fuming at us not signing.

We were pleasingly professional. We played better against newcastle but there was never any doubt that that was our game, we did just enough to finish them off and then stopped playing and some of our pass and move attacking for the half hour we actually tried was sensational. I love watching Everton right now.
