Baines is staying - and if he goes you can bet we will get a ****ing good price for him. Moyes only ever gets good prices for our players unless they are out of contract.

Credit to Newcastle fans by the way, first off with the Madeline Mccann video - staying silent and applauding afterwards, very good of them. Also, i thought they did a great job of supporting their team despite losing 3-1 - just happy to be in the Europa.

They even applauded our lap of honour, fair do's.

I came in here to celebrate, read the Baines posts, and now I'm depressed. :(

And before I read back through the thread, here's my main question:

Why oh why can we not play like this from August - December?!?!?!???!!??!?!???!

Beautiful game of footie in the first 45. From the ENTIRE team. Was proud to be a blue today. Beautiful.

7th, ahead of the RS. Awesome. Great end to the season lads (studiously ignoring the FA Cup business).

P.S. Tim Howard, your ass better be okay. I expect to see you in two weeks.

I've just seen a text he sent to a mutual friend of ours saying that he's "gutted that will probably be the last time he steps foot in Goodison wearing royal blue".

We all know Chico is a bad melt with the popcorning, but this would be beyond the pale if untrue.....

if he's that gutted why is he going? I'm sure he has enough cash, i doubt if moyles is trying to offload him so he should be staying. There are others who are bankable assests who can be sacrificed for the common good.
Thanks chico my animal love loving friend, but I'm not buying that.

Excellent performance. Pienaar, well, I never stopped loving him, just absolutely outstanding, a must buy. Osman, Neville, Gibson, Jelavic, Baines, Heitinga, Hibbert also excellent. A great end to the season. Great to see us all fired up again fans, players and (especially) manager alike. Feared the worst after getting beat at home by Bolton, I really did. Credit to everyone for strong finish.

Heitinga player of the season. I was chuffed to see him get his goal.
Well done Blues. Onwards and upwards.
