A really deserved lead going into half time. Everyone to a man doing a great job and closing down and being in position. Being 1-0 up here was so important after being the better team. These are still dangerous like, but the best form of defence is a good offence. Let’s hope we press the advantage and look to go 2 up in the second half instead of sitting back.

I’m sure someone will tell me he’s defended well but not sure McNeil has even touched the ball in an attacking sense. All the play going left

O Brien can't link with anyone mate. He has a tendency to always come back inside. It's not his fault like as he isn't a natural left back. Cucurella has been quiet in an attacking sense so job done in that regard.

I'd take Gueye off and put Ireogbunam on. Gueye isn't offering anything from an attacking perspective.

Ild also take a very quiet McNeil off and give Dibling 45 minutes.

Happy with the scoreline at HT, and can’t fault the collective effort but we will *never* finish off games early while we insist on a CB at RB, playing a washed up destroyer at CM and a slow, very left-footed player at RW.

It makes for such ponderous, predictable build up.
