I have a theory that because our fans were also in the sun we were so bevvied up and then hungover that there was no energy to sing

The opening section at HD was quite refreshing when all he wanted to do was buy a pin badge to commemorate his visit and decided that the offering from a stall outside the stadium was better than the club shop!

In my case true. Can't stand the heat and was behind the goal in the sun in that horrible airless shitty stadium. Not a good day. I hate that stadium. Like trying to watch a game in a shopping centre, the atmosphere generated by fans is somehow absorbed backwards rather than projected. Awful.
