You cannot tell people that Moyes sent his side out with the same mentality in those home games where we shipped loads of goals and got humiliated, including the FA Cup defeat to Sunderland.

He went for the victory today and we dominated a supposedly top-class side.

There is no reason why he should not have gone for the throat at home against Bournemouth, Brentford, Newcastle, and Spurs.

There was a marked shift in attitude and application from back to front today, and that's what fans want to see. And that's without our apparent best midfielder and best defender.

I think the players sensed the injustice that the fans were feeling with the PL and the Chelsea punishment, and I don't think it was that we just so happened to be playing Chelsea.
Any team we played yesterday would have gotten it woth both barrels like Chelsea did.
It shows when Everton fans and the team are together we can do anything.

Was the unfairness of the Chelsea punishment a blessing in disguise? Well it ceratinly showed that BMD can become a cauldron of fire.

Quite the most like Goodison day at HD so far. Crowd were well up for it and so were the players, best we have been at HD.

Brought 4 guys from Poland to the match today, it makes you understand the transient fan engagement when you see how much they spent at the club shop etc. they had a fabulous time!
