Nothing to do with it. Moyes has a very strict order of preference and his preferred players will always play if available. It doesn't matter what Rohl, Armstrong or Tim do: Gana will walk straight back into the team on his return. One of them may get on at 70 mins. There is never any change in formation - the same order of priority applies and players are just shoehorned into whatever position his preferred player is unavailable.

Tim has been playing well with Garner next to him, I honestly think Garner is pivotal to the team and its performances. Garner is a fantastic footballer, he can do everything and does it all at a decent pace, strikes the ball hard and is needed in the engine room for me. I get that Keane back in brings out the fear in most of us but it also means more height in both boxes, Moyes will always look for that when he can. Let’s hope Moyes has got this right

Won't catch me disagreeing with any of that. One of our most important players for sure and hopefully will be core of our midfield for a long time.

And agree about height in the box against Brentford particularly, Jake no slouch in in the air but Keane is dominant. Just tough to stomach going back to this back 4 when we all know what it looks like on the ball.

Fingers crossed we can get a move on in the window and then we won't have to be talking about playing one of our best players out of position, and can also hopefully see more of O'Brien developing in his favoured position where he's been outstanding so far.
