glad wolves have got the first win under the belt before they face us. That's been really coming fancied them to do that today. Should really have us well warned now and fans need to stop counting the points before we get them. Same goes for tomorrow difficult game, they will sit and hit on break. Very well organized and good on set pieces

….looks more like sleet than snow, very surprised if it’s in danger.

Might be a test for the pitch, I understand we have something different than under-soil heating.

It’s a circular system I heard - they cook all the toffee donuts under the pitch which keeps the pitch warm. Saves the polar bears and keeps the show on the road. Win win.

Villa have just come off an 11 game winning streak that's taken in top PL opposition and a couple of tough CL games. It shouldn't be beyond us to knock off tripe like Forest, Brentford, Wolves and Sunderland...the latter three all at home.

But this is what Ilm talking about: expectation levels at Everton dumbed down for years and it'll continue apace too because the man who got the ball rolling on expectation management is back as manager again.

No, mate. 4 games is what we can win here - I for one am never going to dumb down my expectations of what's doable.
Fair play, why shouldn't we back ourselves against smaller clubs?

Yes injuries, and AFCON absentees. But fans should expect, Moyes and the squad ( whoever's fit to play!) need a boost from the crowd and the board these next few fixtures.

It would be refreshing to have a manager again who - while not being arrogant - just made the point before each game that "our supporters expect to get a result from whoever we play and we'll be doing what we can to get it for them".

Instead, we have the knife to a gunfight buzzkiller placing his dead hand over the proceedings with his doom-laden horse💩.

Rather that than having a manager, averaging around 1.1 points per game (76 games 91 points) lying to the fans telling us we didn’t see what we did 🤷

Wouldn't you rather have a positive manager who made every game something to look forward to - an opportunity, a joy to behold the lads in blue jerseys stepping across the white line again - rather than Sgt Maj. Moyes preparing us for a game like we're going over the top in the Battle of the Somme?
