I know we like to mock the American commentary but for me it is really nice to hear commentators talk about what is happening and who is on the ball. I have enjoyed it and the hunger the players have shown aswell. We are well on top and what on earth is Webb on? Fair enough the ball hits his hand so there is a case for a penalty, but to book the player strikes me as personal.

IMO, these are the best American announcers we have over here. They are the A team. Be very very thankful you're not getting the US nat'l team broadcasters off ESPN.

When their are so ****ing many of them, they have to stand out in the crowd. I think that's part of the reason non-North Americans can stand American Football, can't sit thru the ads. It's truly a great game, the most complicated game of chess there is, but it doesn't help attract new viewers with so much stoppage time.
