Good friday. Home to spurs 3-1 us.

I got the impression there that you couldnt be arsed with this weeks preview but the thought of sh*t loads of little red dots beside your name forced you into it.

I couldn't!

That same match was our Texan friends visit to Goodison if I recall correctly. It was also the last night I was a single man as I was conkers deep in azula the following night.

2-1 to the good guys. Donovan with 2 Dempsey with one. Americans score all the goals. Take that XAVI!!!

Don't think the FOD will score 2 but he will set them both up ( Velios, Fellaini )

I really want a win, but I will take some creativity in the final third FFS.

I want a win bad. And LD and THow to play well. (I would put Clint in there too in American solidarity, but I want a win too badly. Sorry Clint. Everton > Clint on Friday.)

But beyond that, hate, hate, hate that I'm going to miss this while at work (unless I can find a stream) and then agonize over the fact that I won't be able to watch until I get home. Avoiding all media is going to be rough.

This is how I see it playing out...nice preview by the way:

We dominate possesion for the first 15-20 minutes. On their first counter they get a corner or a FK...Dempsey puts them ahead with a soft goal...probably a poor clearance of something.

We play a bit nervy for the next 20 or so, but minimize the damage and go into halftime down 1-nil.

After the break we dominate possesion and chances and finally get one in at about 65 minutes. They then go on an ambush for the next 15 minutes, but we absorb the pressure even though we are all thinking "how did they not score?".

With about 5 to 10 to go we get back on top on and we are all "how did we not score, ffs!".

Game ends 1-1...replay at Craven Cottage.

Funnily enough it was my wedding anniversary (9th April)

Oh, good write up mate.
