Did he? Don’t recall that.

Thought the City manger and former Everton players pursuit of him was the sourest point of the whole affair.
Hughes giving it the biggun before being exposed for the cack manager he was despite unlimited funds - he was the proper 🐀
He would often make swipes about playing in Europe and winning trophies and mocking Everton in posts. I can tolerate players leaving on good terms, can't tolerate Lescott or Gordon for insulting clubs that gave them opportunity to succeed. I think Lukaku acknowledges he was in his primeval Everton and never reached same levels when he left. It was nice for him to leave a nice message to fans.

Hey everyone, is there a way to watch the post-match ceremony anywhere? Wasn't able to catch it live as i was on the road

Absolutely hated today, felt so detached from everything as I was working so missed the build up, the match, the post match (I tried to watch a bit as work was winding down and the stream went off twice).

Hopefully get to watch the match later, just wasn't how I ever envisaged the final match at Goodison where I wouldn't be able to pay my respects and I'm just so fkin angry at myself and it's proper got me down.

From the few vids I've watched, no matter how crap we have been these past 30 years, the fans have been something else and it looks like today was no exception. Through all the dark moments (of which they've been many) the fans have been there through thick and thin.
It's not about having been there today at that very point mate; it's about all the times we, our mates, our dads and grandads have been there over the many many years.

I never went, but it's still been a very emotional day.

As soon as you get some down time, get yourself a little tipple, have a look through the videos in here, read some of the thoughtful posts, laugh at some of the daft ones, and enjoy some of the match highlights, or any highlights of the matches over the years.

it's important that you remember the place in your own way.

Was maybe the swipes in replys to abuse he got?

If you can't take it, then don't give it out.

Simple really.

He was a great player for us.
