I think it's time to accept we need better than Beto. Him and Barry cost over 50m between them. Nobody could argue that this is good recruitment. Early days for Barry, but the signs aren't fantastic.

Alcaraz my MOTM i think. Not just for the goal, but liked his all-round play as well. Seems a bit more comfortable playing centrally.

Garner quietly gone about his business again. Just got it and popped it off nicely. Dont mind that when Grealish, Charly etc are floating around everywhere.

Garner is a good squad player for us, unsung, just goes about his business. Can play anywhere.

Low maintenance - good to have those guys in the squad and play him when needed.

Lads.. we wont be buying/loaning a striker on Beto's/Barry's level at this stage with a week of the window to go. That would require us to be spending another fairly sizable chunk of money which just isn't going to happen..
