Probably been done to death but my overriding thought about the two step entry - through the metal detector gaps on the old wall, then the actual turnstiles - was that the first part, the small gaps in the wall, could be a proper choke point once folk had got their routines and arrives 30 mins later than the test events and first PL game.

Surely that’s a massively over-egged buffer between the away fans? Must be better to have some kind of temporary, but strong barrier that can be erected when needed, rather than leaving that many tickets unsold?

Ridiculous. Didn’t they realise that giving an away team the upper north corner would mean they wouldn’t be able to segregate the concourse? Utter stupidity

10% away allocation for the cup, which means ~5300 seats. Mansfield brought a bunch but they still may not have reached that number, therefore empty seats.

Assume they may also be practicing the setup for bigger clubs later (especially in the FA Cup) who would surely sell out their allocation.
