It's not just Sky, it's the international markets. Supporters of specific clubs, particularly those that go to the match, are the absolute bottom priority for the PL money men. It's not our sport anymore.

Probably the closest we've gotten all season to two halves of a game where we've performed. Also think the sting of the spurs disallowed goal was fresh in the minds of BMD and came bubbling up with the disallowed in this game.

It actually makes me not want to watch, it's over saturated. If there were 1 or 2 a week I imagine everyone would tune in. Unfortunately the PL market is overseas viewers, which generates the revenue, that's why I think it's rigged to keep the top teams at the top to keep the overseas viewers engaged and spending money. The match goer is a thing of the past for the football heirachy

I don’t think that is strictly true

When I lived overseas in Asia the time difference meant that games would be broadcast live at around 11 pm at night or even later

The opposite if you live in America, a 12:30 kick off here means you have to be up at 6am or something in America

If they really wanted to cater for the overseas market they would change the kick off times to suit the overseas market

Players and their agents have a lot to answer for. Demanding higher wages and higher transfer fees.

Clubs need to recoup this money somehow. So more football needs to be played, and more of it needs to be televised.

Does my nut in when players start complaining about having to play too much football. Like, you want to get paid £300k a week, you have to deal with it dude sorry. Would you take a pay cut to play less? Of course you wouldn't, so zip it and do your ACL for the good of your contract
