You watched a different Beto than me, strolled around. More than once their CB took it out of defense deep into midfield unchallenged.
Yeah maybe:) just trying to be positive. I for one would be ok to see Vardy come in that spot...20 mins to go, tired defenders...

encouraging.

Grealish is a class above. Creates chances and defends so well. A shame Aznou is injured - I would have liked to see them 2 link up.

We are shaky in centre mid and defence. Tim is not in the answer but I imagine Moyes is playing him over say Alcaraz to have height in midfield.

I’m fully expecting us to bring 1-2 in central midfield. For defence, Juanlu and Ake would do for me.
Tim was fantastic today. What game were you watching ?

I wouldn't go that far 😉 but as we struggle badly trying to play out from the back a CF who can win the ball consistently and hold it up for the midfield would be handy. Any player who comes on after an hour has no excuse not to run himself into the ground. Don't think Beto needs to trouble the laundry this week.

What's the overview thoughts for today then?

I never even got commentary.

Polar opposite to the Leeds game? Who stood out. How was Barry?

How did the crowd sound in the new stadium?
Barry didn’t do loads, but he held up the ball that will go missed by many for the first goal.

He is also decent in the air….and who knew a striker could do that?

Keane was the stand out CB. Garner has looked good in his position but we still need someone out there. Tarks could of given two goals away and he couldn’t of complained about it.

KHD didn’t do loads but I don’t think he has found his place yet.

Skillmans goal was good, he’s a pro footballer of course and as good as Jacks cross was it was fizzed in and not at a great height (though avoid defenders) so he took it well.
