Jovanovic, Bacca, Colpaert, Lestienne and Zukanovic not up for it, mate?

Jovanovic made clear enough that he's not up to it at Liverpool, for sure? :D. Great player, but is in his 30s already. Expect him to sign a new 1-year deal in Anderlecht, and after that go make some money in Dubai/USA/Australia/... Or go back to Serbia, dunno. Don't see him try England again.

Bacca has surprised me this year. You could see he would be a good footballer this time last year, but didn't expect him to boom this much. I think he'll still have to grow a bit more. Maybe in the summer, he could make the step upwards to a bigger competition. But England, hmmmm.... He's a master in playing the offside trap, but not really that strong?

Lestienne is a great prospect. This year in particular, he has surprised friends and foes (I am the latter :-) ). He's injured now, so that's a blowback to his progression. But I do expect him to make a name for himself, in the future (but not this year, maybe in 2 years?)

Zukanovic still has everything to prove. He's just transferred from Kortrijk (not a big team) to AA Gent (should be a big team, but even Liverpool are achieving better than they are) in the winter transfer market. He's also a good footballer, was on the radar of a few clubs prior to this season. But I don't think he's fit for England. Yet, I can't really predict his future, I don't follow Kortrijk enough for that.

Belgium league fan? :-)

Woah immense performance and fully deserving of three points. Chelsea's win really just came down to superb goal keeping and luck, 3 shots of the woodwork says it all.

Pienaar was my motm, completely dominated the midfield, at times it was like he was playing 3 positions at once. Also loved the competition between him and Luiz, he ran rings around sideshow bob. I though Naismith also played really well, he's gone from gash to quiet decent in only a few games. Big Vic was also great at holding up the ball and bullying the defenders but maybe he should leave the through balls to Pienaar. It's really hard to fault Jeli because he working so hard but nothing is falling for him.

Out of all the subs I was most impressed with Vellios, he was handful and linked well with the rest of the team. Also found it kind of crazy how it was him and Gueye had the most premier league experience on the bench today. Oveido did well too. Barkley just never settled and considering it took him a little while to start playing well for Sheff Wed. you could predict it.

Also I though it was a good game from the refs, a few niggling calls but for the most part they let the game flow.

Never watched any of it mate. But I work with a belgian, those are the players he raves about. Nice to get a second point of view.

I also work with a girl from malta and a slovenian if anyone wants tips from those leagues.

If he's raving about those players, you surely must've heard him talking about Dennis Praet? The future of the Belgian midfield.

Can't believe we didn't win today, was gutted.

We played well though with a weakened team and without many options on the bench, I like the look of Oviedo when he comes on. On another day we turn Chelsea over with how we played today.
