Massively proud to be an Evertonian tonight. We have lost because we lack quality at the top end. We just cant finish. The players gave 100% tonight and probably dont deserve to lose

Nah. Shape went to pot with the subs and the team collapsed in a 10 minute spell.

Moyes clearly has players in the squad such as Alcaraz, Dibling, Aznou, and Rohl who I dont think he rates at all.

Simply not acceptable because the away form won't continue. Nowhere near good enough again and 2 months now without a home win

The away form is unsustainable, brilliant but unsustainable. We got lucky on Saturday. We imploded tonight. We will now start to play the big boys at home in the coming month. We will struggle to beat our record of five home wins from last season at this rate. But it doesn't seem to matter who we face at home, so there is that.

This team has hit its wall. Plenty will be happy with progress. But the mentality at the club hasn't changed. We remain strangers to genuine achievement. There was a chance this season - and it was there tonight. It hasn't been taken. Our excuses for when "the real proper big clubs" rock up are already written.

I don’t think we have a team of cowards. I saw loads of fight from Pickford, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Garner, KDH, Ndiaye, Armstrong but what we don’t have is strikers and full backs who can attack and it’s let us down again with no goals from open play again.

Yeah we just gotta win some of our next games, but they're difficult, so we might as well hope we reach 40. Maybe vs. Burnley or something, but that's at home, so it's not a given.
