We played a 4-3-2-1 v Villa to counter them playing out from the back. Leeds go long to the 2 strikers more often, so may not work as well against them.

I think he’ll play Gana instead of Armstrong.

I don’t think Illy or Gana are back in training yet are they?

Think it’ll be McNeil on the left and Dibling on the right.

Want it to be Aznou on the left and Dibling on the right… but I’m biased.
Truly comical. You don't rate participation for their country in a top tournament is, well sort of an activity equal to playing football? Were they just on holiday and now require training?

Inappropriate Language
Not much between either teams quality wise with Jack out. Home advantage to see us out 1-0. Barry to start a scoring run. Just have to watch these [Poor language removed] on set pieces

wish it was just a “sore foot”

he’s a sore foot that we won’t see him play till august mate for us or elsewhere

i need help.

….things change so quickly, who’d have thought we’d cope without that Branthwaite fella, Iroegbunam claims his place over Gueye and then Rohl claims the place over Iroegbunam. Armstrong fill a gap, all of a sudden there’s no need to rush KDH.

Opportunity knocks for somebody now.

A Leeds fan at work says they struggle when the opposition take the game to them and dictate play, and much prefer teams who play passively. Given our general home form this season, we need to be right on the front foot here. Over to you Moist.
TBF We have actually started nearly every game on the front foot, it's more down to not making the most of our starts.

Absolutely bum the arses off these. Fast start, two up within 18 minutes. Bring on Dibling and Beto for McNeil and Barry respectively after 60 minutes, Aznou and Gueye for Mykolenko and Armstrong at 68 (Gueye playing deeper to add further resolve to the midfield), then Branthwaite for Patterson (O'Brien to right back) after 82 minutes to a roaring reception. 2-0.

Starting XI:
Pickford
Patterson-Tarkowski-O'Brien-Mykolenko
Garner-Roehl
Ndiaye-Armstrong-McNeil
Barry

Ending XI:
Pickford
O'Brien-Tarkowski-Branthwaite-Aznou
Gueye
-Garner-Roehl
Dibling-Beto-Ndiaye
