I don't see any reason why we can't win. United weren't that great throughout last season, haven't got a hugely different team this season, and we have almost exactly the same team as the second half of last season. We should be going into this game knowing that United will not be looking forward to having this particular trip as their opening game. There is no form to bother about on the opening weekend, so we and the players should be optimistic and ready to give them a battering.

I was so worried Neville would play in midfield, but now Gibson and Felli are fine I'm a little positive about this game.

Neville will play somewhere(sadly) either Hibbo will drop to the bench or Fellaini plays behind Jelavic (I like the sound of Felli/Jelly)with the pointer starting midfield with Gibson. Jags will probably get a game after his goal for England left him on a high and he can hopefully keep RVP in his pocket. would like to see Naismith start after his 3 against Athens Rezzies. So ....

1) Neville will play. Moyes will never drop him against United.

2) Would like to see Jagielka & Heitinga but we all know that Moyes loves a right/left footed combo so Distin is nailed on.

3) Fellaini has to play in the middle alongside Gibbo or that boy Kagawa is going to tear us a new one - different class.
