johnny hasn't looked great in pre-season if im honest. moyes sees them every day in training, it's not as if johnny was great in the euros either. they are three quality and very equal skillwise defenders, jags wasn't great last term but has been every other. it's probably the best pairing moyes saw for this game, everyone stop ****ing knee-jerking and thinking he's on his way and other bull****. pissed off with neville, but knew naismith would not be playing.
