A heavy derby defeat would severely test the bubble of optimism I'm still living in (with eyes shut, fingers in my ears).

I just can't see them giving us a hiding at Goodison. Not because we haven't been poor enough for the majority of our last two games, but because they don't look good enough. If Torres is out and StevieMe not quite himself, who's going to bang them in? Babel, Kuyt, Voronin and Ngog can't have more than 4 goals between them this season.

Glen Johnson does well against us and that is a worry but derby at Goodison the boys won't start like they did against 'ull, surely. That 442with Rodwell right and Cahill playing deeper was again square pegs in round holes. Billy back and Pienaar hopefully fitter, Fellaini nicely rested I'd like to see us start in 451.
