Has to be a left back/any outfield player in the academy somewhere that could have been on the bench instead of the extra keeper. Stupid that managers do this.

I think it’s done sometimes to make junior keepers feel included. It’s the toughest position to break into the team, so it’s easy for them to start feeling restless/hopeless.

I’d rather see a junior outfield player too but I don’t think it’s always as simple as it appears.
