We went for it big style in second half. Hitting the post 3 times. Line clearances etc.
Very unfortunate not to pull it across to 2-2.... VERY unfortunate to be down 2 in the first place.
I don't think fortune had much to do with being 0-2 down. Unless that's Tarkowski's nickname. Bournemouth were clearly the better side in the 1st half - we couldn't put passes together or cope with their pressing game.

We reverted completely to Dyche mode.

It's going to take time to change that. We're going to need better players too. Tarkowski for example is playing like Keane used to. Becoming a bit of a liability.

Same as we did away to Brighton but we got lucky there. There's gonna be a lot more Dyche mode unless teams lay down and let us walk over them as Spurs and Leicester did.

We benefit from getting Garner back, Alcaraz looks a talent and Iroegbunam has potential but there's still too much in this squad that comes up short against teams with anything like middling PL ability or above unless they're really out of sorts.

There's been far too many games we've lost this year where I thought the opposition weren't even that good.

I think that's been the biggest disappointment in the last few years. Teams can beat us without really playing well. And it shows we have a long way to go before we can be consistently competitive rather than just little bursts of form.

Those little runs thankfully can be enough to keep you safe from relegation. But you need to become far more consistent before you're really going to move forward. It needs better players across the field and also a complete change of mindset. Good teams make winning a habit and don't drop the intensity just because of a couple of good results.

I agree with this on the whole but I would say they played very well in the first half, and we also played very badly. I just can't buy the optimism from more of a huff an puff in the second half. They sat back as any team of their level would with a two goal advantage and we didn't do enough to trouble them.

Think we are really short on the wings, often the midfield could play it into the channels but Ashley Young receives & goes backwards & Lindstrom didn’t make an impact. Harrison did better but can’t run into the space because he wants to cross with his left foot, he should play on the left. Desperately need a right sided winger but not new news I suppose.

Shame about Tarkoski’s brainfarts today but thought the first was offside. We needed VAR!

Fair play to Bournemouth for 3/3 this season but what an indictment upon us that us. The fact we can't even compete properly with them sums it all up. They are a brilliantly run football club and we are a complete shambles.
I think that's a bit harsh. Things are changing.

2 mistakes which were disasters in the first half, however following the subs I thought we were all over them and more than matched them and could have scored 3.

Shambles first half...better team 2nd...let's see how we go with new owners from here.

Things are changing in the same way they were when we got a new manager bounce under Dyche two years ago.
