We’re not the finished article, as we all know, but Moyes would have to be brave and take chances for us to push for Europe and we all know he’d prefer to play central midfielders on the wing and geriatrics/cb’s in midfield and at full back over players that suit the position.

I have always been a big supporter of Moyes, despite his pragmatism, but his refusal to reward players for playing well, while continuing to give chances to players who do nothing, and not playing players in their best position (KDH) or even in their actual positions is p*****g me off.

Screw you Moyes.

He should play Garner at RB because Garner is the best option we have at RB (even when O’Brien is available) and the downgrade from Garner at RB to whoever else is larger than the downgrade from Garner in midfield to whoever else. I know it isn’t ideal for anyone but Garner is our best RB and needs to be stuck there every week.

Yep the fixtures coming up are unkind and we should probably see if we’re still in the hunt come April 1 before we get carried away. Three of the next five against the top 5 of the league with Newcastle away tossed in for good measure. Meanwhile Fulham for example don’t play someone above 15th in that same timeframe. Brentford likewise have an extremely generous set of matches. We will do well to be in this still for the last 6 weeks.

won't be that easy for Fulham either, as they play teams
putting up one last stand in the relegation battle

moyes knows how to set up against top sides, so we should snatch some points there
