Garner MOTM
It couldn’t have been anyone else from Everton’s team and looking at United it still had to be James Garner —- as for the game it didn’t look like a game of football to me. Quite a lot on this thread are pointing out the absolute mess we make of taking corners with no variation game after game after game and no preparation for the breakaways by the opposition when they attack from them.

Disappointed, but this really cheered me up.

Sat behind Gary Neville and some bloke kept on calling him stale bread, and for him and Carragher to retire.

No reaction for a while, but then Neville, couldn't resist and then gave him a look 😂

Caught him a corker

Lots of huff and puff.

Thought it was a nailed on 0-0 but one good counter from them with Branthwaite 20 yards away was enough.

George should've been on by the hour at latest and I'd also have put McNeill on.

Also annoyed it became a bit six nations in last ten minutes. Too much emphasis on blocking and tugging for the corners instead of actually trying to get first contact ahead of Lammens (who was excellent).

Way team is set up simply isn't good enough for top 8 so it might aswell go to a side who takes more risks home and away like Bournemouth.

Predictable scoreline. Set up for whoever scored first which we were 2nd favourites for given our best players picked out of position. The worry is we won’t attract better players with that approach at home. Better players want to take risks although when we did they scored. Too slow at back to go 1 on 1 so the one time we played a risk they scored.
