Midfield is non existent. But Richy has looked alright, I’d seriously consider moving him to the wing to try and get him deeper so he can try and drive us forward more than he has already.

God knows our current midfield won’t.

Liverpool are top of the league. They're very good on the ball and have an extra man in midfield.
We therefore are spending lots of time without the ball. It's tiring. We haven't played for a very long time and haven't had a pre-season. When we get it, fatigue is clearly hitting in and the lads are struggling.
It's not been good or great. But it's been a completely understandable performance against the best team in the league.
Anyone that can't see that is a bit mad imo.

I think with Joe Gomez on they are close to getting the opener.
We have nothing down either flank. Iwobi is useless and Gordon is inexperienced. I'd change both players.

I just wish we’d get the ball forward quicker. We have two willing, competitive and effective runners up top so play it in the channels, relieve the pressure and get up their end of the pitch.

That should be the tactic. Richy and declare up for it but the midfield is slow ponderous and chasing shadows
