Three observations from me, then bed.

UK got more points than they deserved. Two of the top three were French language songs. Malta tanking in the public vote was my biggest surprise of the evening.

For the British, if you want to win, chuck a band on that can perform, sing in French and commit to what you're doing and you'll have half a chance of at least beating Albania.
