I think it`s become more about the occasion now, with all the glitz, glamour and mad campness during the build up and during the show, the quality of the songs / artists has almost become incidental to the show itself.

It's always had an absolute ton of completely gash or unmemorable at best songs combined with a lot of pitifully weak and unentertaining performances.

At least there's a bit of effort and stagecraft now.

Mum was like, "oh, Eurovision" like it solved how she would entertain me and sister. No need to drink.

It held a place since I was eight in my heart.

But **** Israel, absolutely **** everyone who is allowing this abomination to take place.

Going to watch the assassination of the Outlaw Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford instead.

Not watching it for the first time in about 20 years. Can't be watching the Israel entry dance around on stage as the boos are edited out and see them get propelled up the public vote by an army of bots

My favourite thing about it is working out who is going to vote for who based on who their mates are.

Almost won it a couple of years ago and then Ukraine selfishly got invaded and stole the win. Is that the Eurovision version of like farming?
