Right in the summer im going on a family holiday with the missus baby an mam. Cant wait going to be great an all that.

But.....

My sister has offed to mind the baby for the weekend in a couple of weeks. So me an the missus are going to go for a short break some were in Europe. Thing is im not sure were yet.

Please help an give me some ideas. Somewere different an a bit off the cuff. Fancy Germany a bit or Croatia. No one mention France as im never going back to that [Poor language removed] hole.

Were have people been an were's good..........

England is a lovely place, support your own country. A weekend without the baby, it wont matter where you are. Unless your missus doesnt give it up..........

Will be going Friday morning an coming back Sunday night/Monday morning!!

Dont really want to go that far, saying that im looking at Moscow.

As for staying in England...

1. It's a ******* rip off

2.Iv been to most nice places

3. Means i'll have to drive miles an i'd rather fly as hols start in airport.

4. I love new culture.

5. Because i said so!!!
 
Amsterdam is a lovely city, great nightlife and lovely views. I know you dont take cake to a party, but when i was there i always thought it would a great place to visit with a lady.
 
Copenhagen is a lovely city. Your missus will love it there. Plus, the Danes tend to be a friendly bunch and actually like the English. It's great place for drinking and very relaxed.

Totally recommended, mate. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

This is the sort of thing i fancy, but when you say pricey. How pricey..? how much for a pint an say a meal at night..?

A meal for 2 should cost you about £40 with a bottle of wine. If you don't mind going for a pizza or similar, you'd pay about £25. A drink in a bar can cost you anything from £1.50 to £3. Depends where you go. It's a big city so if you move away from the main tourist bits, things get cheaper. You do have to be careful regarding cash, though. You can get screwed when you don't know what you're doing. It's not as expensive as cities like Oslo or Moscow. But expect London prices.
