The draw for the play-off round of the Europa League takes place on Friday.
Everton will learn which side they must defeat in order to qualify for one of 12 four-team groups.
The draw takes place at 12.30pm UK time and details will be on evertonfc.com as soon as they are confirmed.
The tie is a two-legged affair, with games taking place on the 20 and 27 August. Whether Everton are at home first or not will be determined by the draw.
Uefa will employ a seeding system for the draw, but exact details are yet to be confirmed. However, Everton's presence in Europe for the third season in succession - and English clubs' success in the Champions League - means the Toffees are set to be seeded.
Other clubs in the draw include Werder Bremen, Villarreal, Zenit St Petersburg, Ajax and Lazio - but the Blues should avoid these big guns as part of the seeding system.
Teams from the same country will also be kept apart, meaning Aston Villa and Fulham are not potential opponents.
Genoa, Trabzonspor and Toulouse look likely to be unseeded and therefore could be potential opponents for the Toffees.
Look out for more info on Friday.
