I think literally any English manager in the PL would do better than him. People forget what an absolute joke he was in club management.

I think international management is so different to club management that it’s not as easy as you let on.

These players obviously respond to Southgate, which is key when he only has a short time with them. Yes, his horrible tactics did for them in the end but would they have even been there under someone else?
